About the Merit Badge

The Midnight Quilter badge celebrates the magic of quilting after dark and honors the dedication, late-night perseverance, and passion for quilting that keeps the sewing machine humming long after bedtime.

Requirements

• Stay Up Late to Quilt: Document at least one occasion where you stayed up past your usual bedtime to work on a quilting project.
• Reflect on the Experience: Share a brief note or journal entry in your logbook describing the project you worked on, the time you stayed up until, and why it was worth it.
• Capture the Moment (Optional): If you’d like, take a photo of your midnight quilting setup or the progress you made.
• Share a Late-Night Tip: Include one piece of advice for other late-night quilters, such as a favorite snack, drink, or way to stay focused.
