By earning this badge, quilters will learn to appreciate the beauty and versatility of leftover fabric pieces, turning them into a beautiful quilt.

Requirements

Gather scrap fabric from past projects, ensuring a mix of colors, patterns, and fabric types.
Plan your quilt layout using only scrap fabrics. This can be a traditional pattern or an improvisational design.
Prepare the fabric by sorting and trimming scrap fabrics into usable pieces. Press the fabric pieces to ensure they are flat and ready for sewing.
Sew the scrap pieces together to construct the quilt top. Incorporate at least three different types of fabric in the quilt top to enhance its scrappy appearance.
Complete a final project that showcases your best work in making a scrappy quilt.
