Quilt Camp 2024: The Virtual Retreat

Quilt Camp is the annual quilt retreat exclusively for Quilt Scouts. In 2024, it will be a completely virtual experience, allowing you to join from the comfort of your home. No travel, no packing (well, just a little!), just a weekend of pure quilting joy. You can expect hands-on quilting sessions, live tutorials, community discussions, and plenty of surprises.

If you’ve been searching for the perfect retreat experience that balances skill-building, community, and creativity, Quilt Camp 2024 is it! With a carefully curated schedule of live sessions and tutorials, you’ll gain new quilting skills and knowledge while also connecting with your fellow Quilt Scouts. And because it’s virtual, you can create a cozy camp environment right at home, quilting in your pajamas with a hot drink by your side.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 9th and Sunday, November 10th. We’ll kick off both days at 9:00 AM MT and wrap up by 4:00 PM MT. With plenty of breaks and downtime to recharge (and refuel), you can immerse yourself in quilting without feeling rushed.

Quilt Camp is a special event created exclusively for Quilt Scout members. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just getting started, you’ll feel right at home among fellow Quilt Scouts who share your passion. It’s a fantastic opportunity to bond with like-minded quilters, learn new skills, and work on fun projects together.

All of our live sessions will be hosted on Zoom. You’ll be able to follow along with each lesson, ask questions, and share your progress with fellow participants. Zoom is easy to navigate, and we’ll make sure you have everything you need to jump right into the virtual fun!

Although you don’t have to leave home for this retreat, you’ll want to be ready for Quilt Camp with a few fun and functional items. Our exclusive Quilt Camp Goody Box has everything you need to fully enjoy the experience!  The Goody Box is optional and not required for you to participate in Quilt Camp! Quantities are limited.

This year, the main project is a fun and functional Checkerboard Quilt. I will have 2 different project kits available for purchase in the Quilt Scouts shop. Each kit will include everything you need to create this quilted gameboard during the retreat. Quantities are limited.
