About the Merit Badge
The Unfinished Object (UFO) Badge is designed to motivate quilters to complete their unfinished quilting projects. Many quilters have projects that were started with enthusiasm but left incomplete due to various reasons. This badge encourages quilters to revisit these projects, apply their skills to complete them, and experience the satisfaction of finishing what they started.
Requirements
- Choose an unfinished quilting project that has been set aside for at least six months.
- Assess the current state of the project and make a list of what needs to be done to complete it.
- Review the original plans and instructions for the project. Develop a step-by-step plan to complete the project, including any adjustments or changes needed.
- Ensure you have all necessary materials to complete the project, including fabric, thread, batting, and backing. If any materials are missing or need to be replaced, gather them before continuing.

- Assemble and Quilt
- Attach the binding to the quilt, ensuring neat and secure edges. Add a label.
