The Quilt Show Submission Badge empowers Scouts to take their quilting skills to the next level by entering a quilt into a quilt show. Whether it’s a local fair, national exhibition, or an online gallery, this badge encourages Scouts to confidently showcase their creativity, craftsmanship, and unique style. By submitting a quilt, Scouts embrace the opportunity to receive feedback and be part of the larger quilting community.
Requirements
- Identify a quilt show you would like to enter. This can be a local, regional, national, or virtual show. Review all entry guidelines, deadlines, and categories to find the best fit for your quilt.
- Choose an existing quilt or create a new one to submit. Ensure the quilt adheres to the size, style, and other specifications of the show.
- Document the inspiration behind your quilt, the techniques used, and any challenges faced during its creation.
- Ensure your quilt is finished and meets all show requirements.
- Label your quilt with relevant information, including your name, quilt title, and a brief description for the show.
- Complete the submission process, which ma involve submitting photos, filling out forms, and/or delivering the quilt to the show organizers.
- Attend the quilt show to view your work on display alongside other quilters’ projects.
- Celebrate your achievement by sharing your quilt show submission journal with the Quilt Scouts community.
