Today’s Scoutmas surprise is all about playing with color, trusting your instincts, and digging into your stash — no sewing required.

Welcome to the Holiday Fabric Pull Challenge.

This is your invitation to slow down, pull some fabrics that feel like the season, and create a palette that makes your creative heart happy. No rules. No pressure. Just play.

Your Mission, Scout

Pull 5–8 fabrics from your stash that feel festive to you.

They don’t have to match.a
They don’t have to be traditional.
They just have to spark something.

Choose a Vibe (or make your own)

If you want a starting point, try one of these:

  • Classic Scoutmas → reds, greens, creams, cozy prints
  • Campfire Cocoa → browns, caramels, rusts, marshmallow whites
  • Frosted Morning → pale blues, grays, silvers, soft neutrals
  • Modern Quiltmas → pinks, chartreuse, unexpected brights
  • Cabin Night → deep navy, forest green, charcoal, starry vibes

Share the Fun

Lay your fabrics out, snap a photo, and share your pull:

  • in the Main Campfire on Circle, or
  • on Instagram with #QuiltScoutsAdvent

Bonus points if you:

  • name your palette
  • share what kind of project it might become
  • admit if one fabric absolutely carried the whole pull

Scout Tip

This isn’t about planning a perfect quilt — it’s about listening to what’s calling you next.
Sometimes a fabric pull is the first stitch of a project you won’t make until spring… and that still counts.

Thank you for the fun. I have loved opening a door each day with either a pattern, inspiration, or an activity. I reduced the pressure of having to complete something. Thank you

so hot right now

I'm Megan, your Troop Leader.

I started Quilt Scouts to make quilting feel less overwhelming and a lot more fun. Instead of guessing what to try next, I built a badge system that guides you through skills, creative challenges, and milestones—one adventure at a time.

I’ll be cheering you on as you earn badges, try new techniques, and build confidence in your quilting. Think of me as your trail guide, not your bossy camp counselor.
And yes… I might convince you to hike for the perfect quilt photo.

hey there!
