You’re focused, you’re in the zone, your podcast’s at peak drama—and suddenly your ruler slips, your blade jumps, and you’re bleeding onto your fabric. Again. 🙃

We’ve all been there. But let’s find out if your current sewing station is a beacon of safety… or a certified danger zone.

You’re doing alright… but your rotary blade may be whispering “danger zone” behind your back. A few upgrades could take you from chaotic neutral to cutting champ.

My very first quilting class, teaching how to use a rotary cutter/ruller ( brand new to the market ) a classmate, dropped her cutter, blade open, on her foot, IN A FLIP FLOP. She took 8 stitches and I never ever forgot the experience. Always over a table and never in open shoes. BTW she was an OR Nurse. Lesson Learned early on!

I'm Megan, your Troop Leader.

I started Quilt Scouts to make quilting feel less overwhelming and a lot more fun. Instead of guessing what to try next, I built a badge system that guides you through skills, creative challenges, and milestones—one adventure at a time.

I’ll be cheering you on as you earn badges, try new techniques, and build confidence in your quilting. Think of me as your trail guide, not your bossy camp counselor.
And yes… I might convince you to hike for the perfect quilt photo.

hey there!
